2-Day Trekking in the Carpathian Mountains

Start a joyful hiking route from your hotel in Yaremche with a friendly local guide. The scenic itinerary of the tour goes along the riverbed of the Zhonka River. This fast mountain river is quite shallow, so you may see it rocky bottom, and listen to the sounds of the rapid river flow. Following your guide, you’ll reach a splendid waterfall on the Zhonka River. This waterfall is not very high; however, it has perfect outlines and looks exquisite.

You will enjoy the harmony of nature around you. Fresh air and transparent water, bird songs and peaceful atmosphere – all these will fill you up with joy and happiness.

Continuing your hiking route, you will discover open-air cages with deer and wild boars. This will be an amazing experience to see these animals at close range and you maybe even to feed them.

After that, you will climb Bagrovetsky Ridge. There is a ski slope for beginners in wintertime, and in summer, you may admire spectacular views of the Carpathian landscapes from the top of the ridge. At the end of this exciting day, you will return to your hotel and have a rest.
