5-Day Odesa Small-group Tour

Day 1

Start your 5-day Odessa journey with a transfer from the airport, bus or railway station. Professional driver will take you to your chosen hotel. Check-in time 14.00. On this day, you will have a free time after the accommodation in the hotel. You may start exploring the city by yourself, walking through the Deribasovskaya Street, visiting museums or trying national cuisine at one of the Odessa restaurants.

Day 2                                        

Following breakfast, you’ll be picked-up from your hotel. The best way to see the main tourist attractions of the city in on a splendid 3-hour Odessa panoramic city tour. You will visit a beautiful resort district Arcadia and enjoy a beautiful view of the Black Sea. Then you will head to the central part of the city and discover the architectural masterpiece – Odessa Opera Theatre, which is one of the most beautiful theatres in Europe. You will walk through the central street of the city – Deribasovska and take a picture on the Monument to the 12^th Chair, situated there. Moreover, you will discover the Duke de Richelieu monument and see the Marine Passenger Station. Right next to it there is a must-see attraction of Odessa – the famous Potemkin steps. Your guide will tell you many interesting facts about the history of the city and you will find out how people live in Odessa nowadays.

Tour ends in the center of the city. Your guide will be happy to recommend you the best museums and restaurants that you may visit in your free time.

Day 3

Enjoy your breakfast and then meet your guide at the reception of your hotel and drive to the Odessa Catacombs in the Nerubayskoe Village. This is one of the main sights of the city, which attracts tourists from all over the world. The catacombs appeared in Odessa in the beginning if the XIX century as a limestone quarries. The city was growing fast and a lot of new buildings were built from this cheap material. However, the mining was later prohibited, because it wasn’t safe for the city to have so many underground labyrinths. In different times, Odessa catacombs served as a refugee place for robbers and criminals, and you will hear intriguing stories about it. Moreover, the catacombs played a key role in the history of the World War II, when the partisans hide there. You will see the Museum of the Partisan Glory during this tour.

Then you will come back to the city center and have a free time.

Day 4

After breakfast, meet your guide in front of the Odessa Opera House and discover the beauty of the city’s architecture on a walking tour “Odessa Palaces”. You will see the most elegant buildings of the city, beautiful mansions and lovely palaces. Your guide will show you an extraordinary building of the House-Wall, which consists only of one beautiful wall. Moreover, you will see the House with Atlantes, richly decorated with stucco. One of the main attractions of this tour is a Vorontsov Palace with a splendid Belvedere. It is located not far from the Primorsky Boulevard that is a favorite street of the tourists. It overlooks the sea on the one side, while on the other side a lot of beautiful buildings are situated. You may also visit the House of Scientists and the Literary Museum and admire its beautiful interior. (Optional)

Tour ends in the center of the city. You will have a free time to continue exploring Odessa on your own.

Day 5

Check out of the hotel after breakfast, before 12.00. After that, you will be transferred to the Odessa airport, bus or railway station.
