Meet your guide at the reception of your Lviv hotel or apartment and set off on a fascinating trip to the Castles of the Lviv Region, known as “the Golden Horseshoe”.

Our first stop will be at the Olesko Castle, an important architectural monument of the XIV-XVII centuries. Polish king John III Sobieski was born there, and often visited this fortress later and collected a great number of works of art. Nowadays it is a branch of the Lviv Art Gallery and the visitors can admire the works of artists from different periods. The territory of the castle includes a cozy park and a lake.

The next highlight of the program is Zolochiv Castle, built in XVII century. Today, Zolochiv castle is opened for visitors and consists of the Great Palace of late Renaissance and the Chinese Palace with oriental attributes – a rock garden with a place for meditation, flowers and rare plants, a small fountain, an oriental-style rotunda with a sculpture of Chinese Master. Sobieski and Radziwill families owned the castle in the XVII-XVIII centuries.

Moreover, you will see mysterious stones with encrypted inscriptions that according to the legends can bring happiness.

The last stop will be at the Pidhirtsi Castle – a splendid example of the Renaissance architecture. It is surrounded with the fortification ramparts and ravines of the XVII century, including great entrance gates and a park with ancient linden trees of the XVIII century.
